FAQ: Avéli® Cellulite Treatment
Can I combine Avéli® with other procedures?
For some patients, it makes sense to combine Avéli® with other surgical procedures such as tummy tuck, body lift or liposuction. For these patients the procedure can be added on and done in the Operating Room with Dr. Adams. If done as a solo procedure, Avéli® is done in-office under local anesthesia with our expert provider Tosha Ulmer, NP.
What are the risks to Avéli® cellulite treatment?
As with any procedure there are potential complications that patients should be aware of. These may include excessive bruising, swelling or reaction to the anesthesia. Though uncommon, one of the more serious risks associated with Aveli is infection.
How long is the recovery from Avéli® cellulite treatment?
After the procedure, patients can expect to have swelling and bruising in the areas where Avéli® was performed. Most patients will be able to return to their normal schedules immediately following the procedure, though they may still experience discomfort when sitting or standing. Patients can engage in light physical activity during the first 14 days, but vigorous physical activity should be avoided during healing. Strenuous activity may increase side effects
Are Avéli® cellulite treatment results permanent?
Though Avéli® results are permanent, the treatment doesn’t prevent future cellulite from forming.
How much does Avéli® cellulite treatment cost in North Dakota?
Avéli® is a cosmetic surgery procedure primarily done in the office under local anesthesia. The consultation fee is $200 and can be put towards the cost of the procedure which starts at $3,700.
